From the first conversation through to the final walk through, we take great care to make sure we listen to what you say, and keep you apprised of progress as it unfolds.
As we move forward, every effort is made to ensure that communication is clear and frequent, so the only surprises you’ll encounter are ones of sheer delight.
Here’s a step-by-step outline of the key stages we’ll work through with you:
1. Discovery
Arguably the most important stage, this is where we discuss your wants, needs and vision for your new home. Bring scrapbooks, photos and magazine clippings if you have them, as they will help move the process along. We’ll bring 30 years of insight and experience - along with an open mind and attentive ear.
2. Design
Part of this process includes initial design schematics and plans that can be reviewed and modified until they’re just right. When they meet your requirements for style, space and function, we’ll know we’re on the right track.
Once we’re all in general agreement on direction, we’ll work up some preliminary timelines, and usually discuss a contract to begin development.
3. Build
Working to the final designs and anticipated timelines, we begin construction of your RiverStone Original Home. Mike and Travis regularly visit your site (often daily) to make sure your new home lives up to your original vision and our high standards. You’ll receive frequent correspondence and updates on progress, making the process as stress and worry-free as possible.
